Some things that bring a smile to my face...

1. MY cousin's kid Shreyas, who has just entered first standard, keeping aside one of his brand new school notebooks and giving it to my sister for little Sriram (all of two months old)....

2. The story of the lost book.

3. Leaving office after midnight, going home in a cab and listening to radio, where the radio jockey is welcoming the dawn of a new day and wishing everyone a new day... and i smiled to myself , wondering at the feeling of being awake , smiling at the birth of a new day, a day full of possibilities...

4. Once in a small village in kerala, where we were staying in a friend's place. I walked upto a hibiscus plant and saw a single bud. Since i was bored, i began talking to the bud, asking of it to bloom, to smile to me as i smiled at it...

I went away, smiling at my stupidity, and came back sometime later for something else, when i noticed that bud had indeed bloomed into a beautiful flower....So the flower actually listened to me??? i still wonder, never tried it again though!

5.Meeting up with college friends now. We went to a restaurent the other day and looked at the menu card together and eyse scanned the prices....and we talked about days in college life when there wouldnt be much money..this friend of mine and me, we had only 10 bucks extra, collectively, apart from the money for bus charge, when we had gone to hot breads oneday with other friends....so to save us from embarrasment, we got a single doughnut and shared it by two....
:)) well, nostalgia brings a smile to everyone's face doesnt it????
:)

nostaligia. hmm true.. once i wanted to have one of the costliest food that is available in my place where i studied. I was a semi day scholar semi hostler

I was always of veiw anything apart from tution fees and operating cost to go to college i should not ask money to my dad. i worked as a paper boy and a tutuion master for +2 guys for 2 months to make that money..

the funny was when i was in 3rd year of BE still i looked like a 10th std boy and i was talking tutions for few +2 guys and their parents first were surprised to know a small kid taking classes for their wards.

hmmm
