:(

Warning: this is a rant post with loads of typos....

To complete the picture of already diminishing readership of the blog, pathetic blog update rates, comes the blocking of blogspot.com in india.....

Man, am i going to to have a tough time blogging....

There have been all kind of restrictions that i heard of or come across and my reaction to them strictly depends on whether they affect me or not..i am not much of a crusader, honestly speaking and i dont want to talk about crusades when the only thing i do is do my work and carry on with my life wihtout harming others...

Someone told me a long time back that if you dont do good, atleast do nothig..
So i do nothing..

:)

i dont know if that is the right thing to do. Well it just may be not..but what to do?

And now comes this blocking-thing...makes me feel a little sad.. I am not a popular blogger and dont really make much of an effort to make my blog a popular one but despite all that , my blog is very close to my heart..and every comment on it, very special...

and hence this blocking-thing makes me sad..

and like all other rules that i might have come across, i do nothing about it..
for i am a bit of a cynic...does all this net activitism work? i wonder...does joining the bloggers against blocking thing in wiki actually help in any real sense???

there is a bit of a rebel in me, and , like they say in bend it like beackham, the rebel in me doesnt break the ruls, just bends them a bit for convenience...

So what can be done about this? Am i terrorist? I try not to step on even ants for that matter? So why should they block my blog??? I wonder....and am sad..

And i know that comments will further more dwindle...well , who exactly is going to take the effort of typing pkblogs.com/monuspeaks????????

i think you are almost cursing me for my stupic reaction without seeing the larger picture of restriction of speech...but i am used to it..i was told not to speak right from kindergarten......i even had to face the wall and stand once for talking..i am used to it....

:(

but i shall continue to blog....
i dread the day when only i shall be reading my blog....yep...but then too i shall continue to scribble...

i know this is as senseless as senseless can get, but i am not this super intellectual with an opinion on everything under the sun..i am just yet another blogger scribbling away what i think (and not think).....

See.. people do still read ur blog! :)

If you know how to use an rss feeds reader get it and subscribe to the feeds of all blogs you wanna read. Eg bloglines.com.

Only problem is that , using feed readers u can't comment unless you tunnel through a proxy! anyway enjoy!

whats up monu :)
sad you dont consider us die hard readers of the blog ;)
There are a million ways to get around restrictions...
Sometimes everyone has to do what everyone has to do.
Government says "block x y z" blogs..
ISPs cant block like that, it is the inherent nature of the websites on which we write the blogs, and inorder to not suffer the wrath of the govt, they play it safe and block everything...
What do we bloggers do? We know that we are not the ones govt is trying to block, so we boldly go thru public proxies...
No harm done:)
Activism does work.. if not work, it will atleast work around:)
Happy blogging!
