Somedays I am sad,
like yesterday,
When I was digging deep,
into my memories,
to unearth sad thoughts.
And then there is today,
Where I am smiling away,
like I have just received,
a very flattering compliment,
on my looks....
Only I haven't, not today,
not yesterday...
And then I wonder,
What is the reason?
I don't have to think hard...
Yesterday you weren't here!
