The power of humour

In seeking to understand,
the intricate fabric of life,
I had travelled far and wide,
spoken to many learned men,
with lines on their forhead,
indicating years of research,
to understand that,which i was seeking...

Have they really understood life?
I once thought out aloud...
"No!", said the funny man, next door,
(whom i had long ignored,
for his lack of seriousness)
and with one silent giggle,
He walked away into enlightenment!
