Thought for the day!

Forget anger toward all who have offended you,
For from anger springs a multitude of wrongs.

The face's smile and the heart's joy are slain by anger.
Does there exist a greater enemy than one's own anger?

-Tirukkural 31: 303-304

Makes a lot of sense to me....

I got this via e-mail..i subscribe to chicken soup for the soul (via beliefnet) and get a lot of other related mails ...prayer for the day, that is not restricted to any particular religion, each day i get to read a prayer said in a different religion....very interesting and insightful..it is nice to venture to intrepret religions other than one's own....

huh i guess phobiac has got it twisted... correct me if am wrong..
@ Monu -- yet again a nice post.. i (guess many others) can relate to it so much ... but controlling that anger requires a great deal of love (to thy and to others)..... and ironically its with people whom you love more the same anger bursts out more ....

Anger....
Its very hard to control, but once you are in control of it, you are a different person.
