MY favourite books....

I could never order my likings in life....
not prioritising can be tough...seriously..
life is full of "this or that...make ur pcik" situations....
However I presen to you , the list of books i really enjoyed...
These books left an impact on me...
again i am unable to order them by preferences..they are all equally apeacial to me...

* Success through positive mental attitude - W.C.Stone, N. Hill

I enjoyed this book..
i studied it....unlike reading a book..
this one talks about positive mental attitude.
Success doesnt neccessarily mean meterial possessions, postion or wealth....
Succes is anything that gives you happiness..and this book talks about being a nice person.
and a happy person..
It talks about hope..has a lot of episodes where people have succeeded by hope and only hope...
It fills you with optimism...
worth a read....

To quote a line:
If there is everything to gain and nothing to lose by trying, by all means try!

This book teaches you how to appraoch failures..how we can make so much out of our failures...
about faith in god and in good....
It isnt just another self-help book that teaches you to become rich and famous...
this book teaches you to succeed ...by your own terma..
and asks you to be good person
finally i quote a line i found in the book:

what?giving again?- i ask in dismay
should i keep giving and giving away?
no , said the angel looking me through...
just keep giving, till the master stops giving to you!

*Anne Frank's diary

Now the only reason i like this book , apart from admiring anne ,is that tjis book really motivated me to write..and share my opinions and feelings..

*The testament- John Grisham

I liked the simplicity and the ending...So different from the other John Grisham books that I have read..
It is about this guy who goes to find a heiress..lured by her wealth..
and when he finally meets her.he is so moved by her goodness..she is not interested in the money..she is into service...
he changes himselves...and gives up his lust for meterial possessons....

*Fine things - Danielle Steel

It isnt an all through feel good book...It has its share of sorrows..and how the protaganist overcomea them...
hoe he loves..and lets go....and is able to love again..
about simplicity.....
have never read another equally good book by danielle steel

*Little Women

I read an abridged version for kids...but saw the movie that had julia roberts in it..
i liked the movie....and the abridged version that i had read as a kid...

* Harry Potter Series

My oh My!! I thought that the Harry Potter book was another case of hype and hoopla and
didnt want to fall victim to that...and didnt read the book at all...then i saw the movie
(harry potter and the sorceror's stone) and was impressed...
then i read the book..and simply read it...Rowling can 800 pages and make each and every word
in the book interesting.....
WOW! is all i can say..

* The Day of the Jackal - Fredrick Forsyth

Simply marvellous!..really liked it..

*Doomsday Conspiracy

One of the few Sydney sheldon books that i actually like...

so that was my list...will come up with another list soon....
:-)
