The temptation

She kept toying with it..the restlessness of her fingers mirroring the indecisiveness in her mind…

“Should I do it? Or should I not?”…….the questions were looping endlessly in her mind, preventing her from coming to a conclusion….

The object of temptation lay there, in her hands, as she continued to toy with it……

“Would it be right? It is a small thing….”, she hated moments of indecisiveness…and hence hated the choices life gave ….

No one would know if she did it….but does that mean that she can do it…her conscience would anyways know that, the sin was committed….and it would taunt her forever…..it was just one of days …….

Then the random movements of her fingers stopped…she grasped the object tightly in her fist…

And without second thought, she put the small peanut butter chocolate in her hand-bag…she had decided…she would take it home and give it to her little sis………..she couldn’t get herself to eat it all up….without giving it to the others at home..it was afterall foreign chocolate…………………..
