Someone like me

I have been through this so many times......
the sudden jubiliation on stumbling across someone like you.....
they can be like you in any way..they can have the same name as you do....i felt this sudden sense of joy when i found another blogger with the same name as i do..check out monu.....

and ofcourse..in real life i have come across so many people, who have the same name as my own..my name being a very common one......

i was blog hopping and i stumbled upon gayathri's blog......same name connectivity.....
:)

and many other insignificant things like...

  • same locality......(like..when you are asking somebody you have just been introduced to, as to where they live..and they say something like i live in annanagar..and you ask them, where in annanagar..and they say something like..actually mogappair.... near the MMM hospital..and you go like ...hey me too....i have to go straight from the hospital and blah and blah........now you become buddies......)
  • same native....(it happens particularly, when people dont understand what you are..like i try telling people that my father is from pallakkad..so we are pallakad brahmins ..but people think i am a malayalee....no, i am not....i am a tamilian...but finding another person like me gives me common ground)....
  • same kind of introvert..... ( i dont think any explanation is needed here...)
  • same kind of spending habits.......
  • same kind of enthusiasm for chatting/shopping....

and i can list on.......but finding someone like you..is wonderful..

I dont mean to say that similar people will be the best of buddies...but it certainly breaks the ice....

:)

@kaps

sometimes it is nice to have an unique name too.....
i have wished that when peole associate me with adjectives so they can differentiate me from the other person with my own name
:)
by talking up with them.....

monu said...

i meant that you can find out abt shopping choices as you get talking...
